What is “personal” training?

As every one of us is different, everyone needs different training for different goals. You might want to lose weight, tone up, shape muscles, increase energy for daily living, improve health or well being. Different ages and personal health conditions may require special attention or care.

Personal training is the most effective way to achieve your goals. A trained professional can determine your health and physical condition, set up goals and deadlines, track your progress and provide feedback.

Personal training sessions are usually one-on-one, sometimes 2:1 but never more than two clients at a time. This means clients can enjoy undivided attention. Trainers conduct sophisticated exercises which combine multiple moves, often unusual postures. Personal trainers are always there to help, correct moves if needed, ensuring maximum effectiveness.

You can choose from a wide range of training types which fit into your daily life. Sessions are always personalized, diverse and thorough.

Personal gym training

Gym based personal training is available in Bannatyne’s Health Club at 4 Millbank, Westminster. Hours are flexible and it is one of the top clubs in London with world class equipment, spa and services. Conveniently located across Victoria Tower Gardens between the Houses of Parliament and Lambeth Bridge.

Personal home training

Home based personal training is available anywhere in London. It is a personalized special program with the help of portable equipment. You don’t have to own any large and expensive fitness equipment, all you need is 2×2 meters of space.

Personal outdoor training

Outdoor trainings can be part of gym or home based trainings or standalone sessions. Pick your favorite Park and meet Pal for a special workout.

Group trainings

All of the above sessions are available for small groups as well. Have fun, get healthy and fit with your friends, family or colleagues. Or meet new people and work together in our gym classes.

Workplace training

Treat your workers with a short session of refreshing workout and stretching during the day, and see the immediate results in increased productivity for the rest of the day. This program includes specially designed exercises for office workers, they won’t make them sweat (too much) but will give a good feeling and may help prevent long term problems like persistent back pains, obesity, high blood pressure, etc.

Online programs

If you live outside London or too busy to go to the gym you can still train with Pal. Order one of his DVDs, or download the audio or video podcasts that fit to your needs. Online and occasional personal consultation is part of the program to track your progress. This Service will be available from Summer 2010.
